During the month of May when London hosts Photo London at its new location at Kensington Olympia, Hamiltons presents Up Close. An exploration of intimacy and detail, Up Close surveys the world as seen close up by Modern Masters of photography. The selected works examine proximity, testing the distance between subject and lens. The breadth of artists represented are a testament to an almost fifty-year legacy of exhibiting the most important photography at the gallery.
The exhibition features work by Helmut Newton, Irving Penn, Herb Ritts, Richard Avedon, Daidō Moriyama, Hiro and Erwin Olaf, amongst others.
